Why We Need to Take a Multi-Vitamin

    1. It is difficult to get all the nutrients you need from the Standard American Diet (SAD). Thanks to heavy processing, much of the food we eat has diminished in nutritional value

    2. Our soils are being stripped and depleted of the vital minerals and nutrients that get absorbed by our produce.

    3. Factors such as lifestyle (i.e. excessive use of alcohol, smoking), environmental toxins, and medication use can deplete nutrients in the body.

    4. Even excess exercise can cause the body to leech minerals from your bones, and build of lactic acid can cause the depletion of nutrients.

    5. Research shows that accelerated aging and many chronic health conditions are the result of nutritional deficiencies.

Supplementing your diet with a multi-vitamin and multi-mineral from whole food sources can give your body the added nutrition it needs. Avoid synthetic supplements whenever possible. If you don’t want to take a supplement, you can increase your consumption of organically grown produce.
